Although Extron will not comment or give us any details on its filing (apparently from yesterday) against Crestron for patent infringement, we have learned through a source that it is for allegedly copying the Extron Cable Retractor system.
Not many details are available online, but we are searching frantically and have put in calls to both Extron and Crestron. The case number is 8:14-cv-00922 and it was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Via a Google Alert, we found the filing here. (RGB Systems is DBA Extron.)
